Brother in Arms

In my book my John langan I want to show that there is a external conflict going on . Toby and his mother are going trough a lot of things where she can't afford a house. Her father is trying to work hard but he still can't get the money for the bills. Toby find a job that might not pay so much but cuts it for his parents. They keep him out the house because they don't want him using anything that will have to do with bills and money.

Christmas Time😈🎄

   Before Christmas I asked for a shoes. I already have the Jordan Retro 11,10's and 4's. I want the Retro 7 Bordeaux and the ugly Nike Christmas ugly sweater Roshe one. I also asked for a PS4. I can't wait for Christmas to be with my grandparents and all my other family. A really nice Christmas present I've gotten in the past was the IPhone 6+. I can't wait this year to spend time with my family and see some of the presents that I'm going to recieve.

Search for safety

 In my book Search for Safety by John Langan the external conflict of this story is when Larry's best friend robbed Graham's. During the book there is a man named Larry that married Bens mom. They get married 3 months after they've been together. Larry was a good man but after he lost his job he had went through depression and started to become an achoholic. Larry had gone through depression and became very violent. This was nothing like Larry. Larry had started at the end of the book get greedy for money,he had stolen money from Ben and had done something even worse. Larrys bestfriend was forced by him to rob a store that Ben works at named Graham's. Larrys bestfriend was such a good,loving and caring man that would never do that. Larrys friend had frighten the store owner Graham's so much that he had gotten a heart attack. I think personally that Larry shouldn't have forced his friend into doing this because it caused the man Graham's to have a heart attack and the store go bankrupt. I understand Larrys situation because he is broke but what I don't understand is why he doesn't try to apply for another job and earn it in a good way.

I think this is a contrast and contradiction because Larry was a good guy and never had done this before. He had a hard working job with good payed money and then did something so evil.

Search for Safety

In this book from chapter 1 and 3 there is guy name Larry that is getting married. The girl that he loves dearly only have been together for 3 months. The woman's Aunt Fay does not approve of them getting married in such short time. During chapter 2 they go through arguements about there Aunt Fay not approving. She starts to realize that it's been a such short time and also that they live in such a small and dangerous town and they need to get jobs to support each other for when they do get married. These chapter have been very interesting and have had some downs

The Journey Back

The genre of my book is realistic fiction/adventure. There is a kid in this book that has a hard time with  life and on his birthday decides to run away.

On Saturday October 17 there was a playoff game that took place at baseball alley. On a really cold night were everyone was trembling and breathing smoke from the coldness air. There were   2 Berwyn teams facing  each other to go to the next step of the playoffs . The Berwyn team (redsox) were the home team so they were on the field first for defense. 

A pitcher named Julian with the second best arm on the team, then a kid named Anthony with the best arm on the team was in center field. Man on second and Julian tried picking him off and he decided to run to third causing a run down. Back and forth the runner goes and center field Anthony came in caught it and threw it to the catcher than got involved and tagged him out.

Few innings later the score was 7-4 the Red Sox were down , Anthony was up to bat while there were bases loaded. He hit the ball and it was a pop fly like a major league hit but into the infield. The umpire called it an infield fly rule but said the play was dead. It was not dead it's still a live ball like any other play. The Red Sox coach kept arguing and never got his play over turned. The younges kid on the team was up to bat with 2 outs and had hit a ball straight to center and make a quick turn bounce to the gate. Everyone ran in on base and Red Sox won the game 8-7 proceeding to the next playoff game.

The big game 

   My baseball tournament was in 2013 in Chicago,IL.  I was 11 years old. It was a really hot day and it was 107 degrees on a July summer day.  We were facing Chicago 12-13 youth.My team was also 12-13 young but I was only 11. I usually started left field or first base but my coach didn't start me at all. I asked the coach "Coach Pauly why didn't I start ?." His response was "These kids are too big for you I don't think you're ready." I told him back "I'll show you if you let me play."

 So my coach actually thought about it and put me at first in the 4th inning. The guy kid on the other team was a lefty so I knew it was coming towards me. On the first pitch are pitcher threw a changeup and the ball was a pop fly towards me so I ran and ran and ran as fast as I could and I dived caught the ball and landed on my wrist.

 I was on the ground crying and I sat out for awhile. I got back up and told coach to put me in. He said "right on time you're up to bat." As I got to the plate this kid on the mound gave me the dirtiest smirk ever. He set up and threw a fastball right down the plate got me feeling warmed up. 

The count ended up being 1-2 he threw a curveball and I blasted the ball and it went down left field and hit the gate with me and my little legs advancing all the way to third to get a triple. Thinking in my head I almost got a dinger. 

But at the end Me teammate got a single and we won't the game leading in the run winning 9-8. At the end of the game I got the game ball for having confidence and showing what your made of no matter what age. 

               All in all just have confidence and no matter what happens keep your head in the game.

Outsiders book vs.movie

The book has a lot of more detail than the movie. The movie as you can see while you watch it it jumps to chapter 4 and 5. Also the movie is different about the church. Also the movie adds some other detail when they should have put more detail about the actual movie in there. But some comparisons are about how every chapter that they put in there is like you can imagine.

So far my book is great. It truly grabs my attention. This book I like mostly because it's about baseball. In my book so far a guy name Hutch is a really good ball player. But during the stories they have a lot of practices before a big game. They do a lot of scrimmages and try to do many plays that people in the MLB would do. I can make a connection to this story for how dedicated to baseball they are like me. To be honest I think this is the best baseball book I'll ever read⚾️.

My Heritage 🇮🇹🇵🇷

I'm Puerto Rican and Italian I was born in Chicago Illinois . Something about being Puerto Rico is that one of are favorited foods are Arož con dulce. Something about Italians what we eat is pasta and pizza. We celebrate all the usual natural American holidays. My grandma and grandpa on my moms side speak Spanish and my dads side speak Italian and English .

Chapter 4 outsiders

   Soda pop got sick from not eating due to his addiction to Pepsi and didn't want to eat unless he got Pepsi. He got super sick and was very tired . On a natural weekend they talk about how they played football and had a great time. It was a mutual chapter that happened through it.
