In this book from chapter 1 and 3 there is guy name Larry that is getting married. The girl that he loves dearly only have been together for 3 months. The woman's Aunt Fay does not approve of them getting married in such short time. During chapter 2 they go through arguements about there Aunt Fay not approving. She starts to realize that it's been a such short time and also that they live in such a small and dangerous town and they need to get jobs to support each other for when they do get married.
