No summit out of sight

In my book No  Summit out of Sight I found a memory moment. The boy named Jay has been dreaming about climbing the 7 Summits.  His father has seen him very determined to do it and feels like he's ready. He looks back st a moment where people told him th he was to weak to be climbing suck a hard thing and he use to get very mad and sad because how small he was. He looked back st that and thought about how people used to underestimate him and now he is starting to get built little by little when everyone doubted him about never getting strong.

No Summit out of Sight

In my book summit out of sight by Jordan Romero a kid named Jay is facing an external conflict. His external conflict is that Jay can't go on the 7 mountains. He needed an age limit and he said" I can't wait til July to accomplish what I've been wanting to for years."  His dad also said "if you want to climb the 7 summits you need to train and get built for that." So he has been determined to do this but it's been very hard for the training and he's already start of giving up.

The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die

In my book The girl who was supposed to die, a girl named Katie SageBrush is going through an internal and external conflict. Her internal conflict is that she has schizophrenia that makes her feel and act a different way. In the book it says "my nails are peeled off my skin and my tooth is almost ripped off my gums." She did this to her self without knowing due to the schizophrenia. Schizophrenic is when your mind makes you think, feel, and act a different way that usually turns out bad. Her external conflict is that when she goes into the car after killing the medic she had ran into a security guard who knows about what she did. That leads to a lot of people knowing what she did and the cops look for her. This external conflict leads her to be very scared. She escapes from the security guard and makes it to a McDonald's where she met a guy who took her order named Ty. Ty seen her in a corner when he was cleaning up and knew about her also and woke her up and hid her in Mcdonalds from the cops which lead her to safety. This is the internal and external conflict Katie is facing.

The girl who was supposed to die

In my book there's a girl named Katie Sagebrush. Katie is facing a lot of conflicts right now in this story. Katie has some mental issues. She was recently tried to be token away by a mental hospitalist. The hospitalist had said some things that made Katie feel like she was getting killed. She doesn't know who she is or what she is really doing so before they revealed her name everything was just clueless. It was very confusing but it still made some sense. This book gets very interesting when she kills the man.

The girl who was supposed to die

In my book the girl who was supposed to die by April Henry I found an again and again. The protagonist in my story is getting captured by this man. The man that is capturing him seems to be looking for something. The protagonist in my story is very injured it says in the story, it says "my mouth taste like old pennies.Blood. With my eyes still closed , I gently touch my teeth with my toungue. One of them feels loose. The inside of my mouth is shredded and sore. The tips of my pinkie and ring finger throb with every beat of my heart. The pain is shard and red. She says that multiples times in the story because later in the book she says my finger tips red and dripping down blood I feel my tooth and it's very loose being scared to touch it because it might fall out." It seems like she is saying it again over and over because she feels scared that it might come out for how much pain she already is in.

Code of honor

In my book code of honor I had found the theme of the story. I had finally completed my book and I really enjoyed it. The theme of this book is to never give up on someone you love. Kamran came all the way to Iran to look for his brother. This shows that kamran really cares about his brother and will do anything for him. I really liked this book and it really has a great story.

Code of Honor

In my book code of honor by Alan Gratz I found a contrast and contradiction. Kamran has always been a tough, nice type of teen. But he is also very scared of doing things out the box. In the book he faces a good contrast and contradiction by becoming brave and looking for Darius. He said " we have driven all night and there is still more to go. I love my brother and I will fight for him." He is going on a trip with his girlfriend  Aaliyah , and Jimmy his best friend. I can tell Kamran is really determined to find his brother to see him again. He goes to Afghanistan and end up buying weapons such as guns, knifes. They get injured but not severely. They get really close finding him but not yet.

Code of honor

Kamran is going through a internal conflict. He is missing Darius. On page 67 he says "he is all I think about now. All I talk about." He says "every day is now the same with out him. Eating the stale cereal and watching TV waiting for him to come home." I can see that Kamran is going through a tough time without his brother and misses him very much. I can make a connection to this because when my cousin left for the army I missed her so much and missed all the fun times we had. It was really hard and I really missed them but them they eventually but they ended up coming back and eveything was okay. I hope that happens to Kamran and he will see Darius again.

The reflection of Rwandas Genocide

Reading everything and learning about this project was very sad to see how many Tutsis were killed by Hutu's. Some interesting things I found out was about the hotel of Rwanda. They filled 100's of Tutsis in the hotel to save them! But how do genocides happen ? Well they happen due to money and governmental problems and conflicts from the past. What we can do about these genocides is make them stop. These genocides are very tragic and very sad to here about. There is nothing like hearing millions of people are getting killed. There are meanings to why genkcides happen but thats not how it should go down.

Code of honor

In my book Code of Honor by Alan Gratz feels a Memory moment about Darius and him. On page 40 Kamran feels a memory moment about how much he misses and worries about his brother. Kamran says "I remember being 5 years old Darius was thirteen, we were out in the horse ranch where mom worked on superstition mountain." He also says "what do we do Rostam? This is are never ending game! Darius pulled out one of those cheap plastic troll dolls from the dollar store and said  with this the magic troll statue we will win." With this I can see that Kamran is going through some tough times thinking about how much he misses him. I have a connection to this because with my cousin and I we would always pretend of a battle story outside and go along with it and pretend we were soldiers or heroes in the army.

Code of Honor

In my book Code of Honor by Alan Gratz I found a external conflict. There is a boy named Kamran who is an All Star for his football team. He has a older brother named Darius and he is in the army. Kamran and Darius are both Iran and White. In the book the say a nasty comment about Darius they say "That Arabic kid doesn't deserve to live anymore."In the story Darius gets threatened to be a terrorists because hes one of the only Arabic in the army.  With that they think he's a terrorist because what's happening and he went missing.

Holcaust Backround info.

After reading bystanders andI honestly don't know what I would do. It was such a tough time that they lived in and it seemed so hard. I would try to find a way to help some people even though I wouldn't have been so stable myself. They had a really hard life in the ghettos also. What I think that gave people the inspiration to stand up to the Nazi's was that they got tired mad felt the need to speak up

Holes

In my book Holes by Louis Sachar there is a kid named Stanley Yelnats and he is under a curse. I think in this part of the book Stanley is facing a Contrast and Contradiction in a good way. Stanley has always been a friendly guy but also really mean. He has lately seen the people working with him digging holes as family.  He says something like "I know this all has been hell but honestly I couldn't do any of it with out any of your motivation. I'm really glad I met some of you." I can see that Stanley is really starting to care for his friends and realize that's even though it's hard it takes time and it will all be alright.

Where in the world I want to go

I would like to go to Puerto Rico. My moms side of the family is from there. They tell me so many stories about where they went and all the memories they had in the house the all grew up in. They still own this house over there and it's so huge! There are like 8 rooms! Puerto Rico is so tropical and nice. They used to go when they were younger to this water fall called La Mina  . I would also like to go to my great Grandpas farm. I would also like to explore more of Puerto Rico like the city. What draws me to this location is the wild life, the beaches, and my family background that makes me wanna go there.

Center Field

In my book Center Field by Robert Lipstye there is an external conflict going on with Coach Carter. He is still going through problems with his family and with the stress of Miguel. On page 89 it says "I feel bad for coach so much and I hope he doesn't do something stupid." Coach carter is probably one of the strongest people you will ever hear from in a story. He has so much passion and so much to tell and give good advice. I can relate to this because my Coach was such a great man and had so much passion in the game.

Center Field

In my book Center Field by Robert Lipsyte there is a contrast and contradiction going on Coach Cody has been having a rough time at home. Coach Cody is a very strict but very nice Baseball Coach. He has a really great team but there also facing new people coming in and trying to cut people off the team. A kid from Mexico that came to tryout name Miguel. That's another reason coach is getting stressed out because the kid has great talent but doesn't have papers. Coach Cody lately has been down and tired. He usually has the spirit and joyness of a dog when it sees bacon. This is ,y contrast and contradiction.

New Years Resolution

My New Years resolution is to focus more on school. I'm a very chatty person and like to make jokes. I like school a lot because of my friends and Math. I really need to focus on Reading/LA because that's why I usually struggle on.
